Subject: Thoughts on "The Battle of the Atlantic"

I'll post some of my thoughts
(no way will I set myself up by calling it a "review"
just a few of IMHO thoughts on this book)

"The Battle of the Atlantic" by Andrew Williams
(or longer title includes "The Allies submarine fight
against Hitler's gray wolves of the sea")
2003, mine softcover, 288 pages.
I got mine discounted to only $4.00 at a store.

A quite worthwhile book.
Not perfect in any one sense, but very informative blend.
Fair hunk of individual (anticdotial) stories and inputs,
fair amount of 'big picture' ideas (i.e. codes/codebreaking
on both sides).
No 'perfect' statistical breakdowns.
Very good list of references/sources used, index,
and notes on contributors.

Worthwhile, informative, and very much worth price.
Fairly easy read.

Anyone else read? Or care to offer thoughts?
