AFAIK it wasnever sed inanger. It was not good enough
terrain and it was too obvious in occupied Europe,
Two Welbikes were presented to the Governor
of Yunnan, and he was so impressed that heordered forty
more.

The Welbike morphed post-war into the Corgi, a small street
motor bike. It was swamped by Vespa and Lambretta.
