The problem being that it was only a great aircraft on paper. It was a
redesign of the 210 and failed to cure all that aircraft's faults. I
agree that production should have been stopped though. The political
infighting in the Luftwaffe interfered with aircraft production. The
much superior He219 had production limited in favour of the 410.

Still aircraft production was not the major German problem, that was
finding fuel and aircrew to operate them.
