My bet is that Overlord will have to be reinforced to cope with
increased German defenses - it's not as if the Allies had too much
shipping - so Dragoon will still have to wait for its turn. This gives
the Italian theater of operations one additional month in which to use
the Dragoon forces before they are withdrawn, so the Allied commanders
get a chance to tackle the Florence-Rimini line, presumably get a
bloody nose with nothing to show for it, Clark blames his allies. We
would probably not be spared the post-war nonsense about doing Dragoon
in Italy, as Churchill would likely come up with yet another
harebrained plan to use these forces in anywhere other than Provence.

The wild card is will the deception plan hold on.
