I'd agree he was better at thinking on the move, but that's about it.
For everything else, Patton shot himself in the foot about as often as
Montgomery did.

Patch and Devers were good, too. Also some of those PTO fellows who
rarely make it to a discussion of the top Allied ground commanders.

I agree that Patton was way above Leese and Alexander, though. I'll
even toss in Dempsey and Crerar for good measure...
