I can't vouch for that, but I have seen photographs of an airfield, probably
in Belgium or maybe northern France, where all the hangars were disguised as
houses or other kinds of civilian buildings. They did a good job on the
buildings, but it was surely wasted effort since there were other giveaways.
For instance, it would only take one photo-recon plane coming back with a
single pic of a German plane outside a hangar to give the game away.
