On the afternoon of 23 December 1944 a B24 flown by Arthur Legath and crew
crashed at some time after 1549 hours, probably near the Yugoslavian coast,
killing all occupants. Two of those aboard were OSS agents and instructions
had been given not to drop them as originally planned. According to the
record in the squadron history, the Balkan Air Force was to provide the
885th BS with details of the crash, however, this information is not
recorded in the squadron history.

If anyone in the group can identify the agents I would be most appreciative.
I have the names of all the US men aboard but not those of the agents.
