Indeed. But just like todays socshlism bears zero relationship to what
Karl Marx actually wrote,the post Roman church bears no relation to what
JC actually preached either.

Its important to realize that *organised* religion* is a political tool,
and very little more.

*as opposed to esoteric, mystical and philosophical religion, which
never gets a mention these days.
