first thing to know is that
1 energy is conserved

energy (including potential !! though not all people realized it) is
MASS IN MOVEMENT !

energy can be transferred from one system to another one
**only by some collision* of masses
so as long as there is not any collision
you cant transfer energy from one environment
to another
i guess that what was in your mind was
'to your or our **useful uses** " (:-)
