microsoft.public.exchange.admin

I know this has been tossed around before.. but i'm still unclear on
how to fix the issue, where in outlook, particularly outlook 2007 via
rpc over http.. the user gets a popup warning them that
autodiscover.domain.com doesnt match wan1.domain.com on the ssl..

Godaddy, to the best of my knowledge doesnt support SAN.. they do have
a wildcard domain possible, but this costs about $170 vs $20...

Someone suggested i try creating a CNAME for autodiscover.domain.com
pointing to wan1.domain.com.. but this didnt fix the issue..

Can anyone help me on this one?

Previously for internal naming issues.. like when opening outlook
internally.. i used the shell to change the name in this way, but i
dont think this applies here..
