It is interesting to compare political outlooks with authorship
outlooks. I claim that authoritarians--rigidniks, as I call them--
both leftwing (shoot smokers) and rightwing--who get intensely and
knowledgeably involved in the authorship question will inevitably
become anti-Stratfordians. Others can, too, but rarely with anything
like the intensity of the rigidniks. I have to admit that there are
apparent exceptions to my rule. I'm still working on my explanation
of them. One good explanation for some is that a rigidnik may develop
a rigidniplex (or delusional system) for some A that contradicts and
therefore prevents his development of a rigidniplex for some B (like
anti-Stratfordianism. An extreme Marxist thus may be more horrified
at the idea of an aristocrat as Shakespeare than of a self-reliant
individualist--the case with our boy, Spinoza, at least in part. Of
course, it's complex, and (obviously) I don't have enough facts about
most of my subjects to prove anything. I have enough facts about our
number one rigidnik, Paul Crowley, to do so, however.
As for my politics, I'm a constitutional anarchist. I despise
political correctness and republicrats.
