What a liar!
Brennan doesn't even know the Sonnet
nor the line, with my reading of which he
says he disagrees. He's probably never
even read it. He's certainly never
commented upon any reading of it.
In any case, his comments upon any of
the Sonnets are rare, and are invariably
in the form that he thinks constitutes
a joke.
He latched on to the scatology -- having
been told by someone else -- and, boy,
has he hammered it since!
