Not proof one way or t'other, though. Different branches of the Theobald
family say "thee-o-bald" and "tib-bled", different branches of the
Hathaway family say "hath-a-way" and "hate-a-way", and different
branches of the Halley family say "hay-lee" and "hal-lee".
