Yes. In principle. That is why scientific theories are never -proven-
regardless of how many verifications are made. One never knows if the
next new and unknown fact discovered will falsify the theory or not.

On the other hand if one -defines- a cow to be a mammal that cannot jump
over the moon, then the matter ia a tautology and tells you nothing new.
