Our appliances, other than dish washer, are gas (wouldn't have it any other
way around here), and we use our dish asher maybe three or four times a year
(yeah, we still do dishes "maunally" :~)

Yes, but they never let FACTS stand in the way of their current "feel good".
The point of the "protest", crackheaded as it is, is for personal use. My
point about TVs is that, like above, they trn it on the moment they come
come and turn it off when they go to bed. The overlapping part is how how
mentally stultifying the TV is, particualy to the young.

Oddly, the people (demographically) who watch much more TV are lower
economic strata that can't afford the newer, lower power usage models.

I have no problem with people using electricity for any purpose, I just wish
they would stop using the boobtube as a babysitter, even if it used NO
electricity. Quite possibly, people wouldn't be such brain-dead pansies that
bought into the protest BS.

I'll leave a light on in hopes that that day comes! :~)
