Description: Our client is a bleeding edge technology company with more cool stuff to work on than you've probably ever seen in one building. Position Title: Junior Software Engineer



Work Location: Suburbs of Philadelphia PA



Work environment : Typical office and labs filled with prototypes and test equipment. Off street parking



Who does this position will report to?: VP of Software Development



Size of department: Under 20



Projects involved with:

The success full candidate will be involved with various projects for various clients including US Govt., Telecom, Aerospace, etc.



Responsibilities:

Understand a fairly large existing code base

Develop software for production as well as test fixtures

Collaborate with other developers to reuse existing code and design new code

Help move the company to the .NET framework within the next year



Role with the group: Software Engineer



Required Skills:

*** NOTE: Candidates must be US Citizens or have a Green Card... NO VISAS ***

At least 1 years of Visual C++ development experience and knowledge

Experience with COM, MFC, XML, Boost, and Standard Template Library (STL)

Visual Studio

Experience with at least one of the following: Mathematically intensive computation, RF Systems, Instrument and or Machine Control, Graphics or algorithm development.



Desired Skills:

Scientific, Engineering and lab automation tools

Real time data acquisition, data reduction.

Work Hours and Schedule: Business hours with flex and overtime as needed

How is compensation structured?

Base Salary: Up to 60K (Depending on Experience)
