Description: Our client is a leading provider of traffic solutions to consumers and businesses. Our client provides comprehensive coverage to 74 Designated Market Areas (DMAs) and 107 Core Based Statistical Areas (CBSAs) encompassing traffic congested U.S. cities. Their solutions include predictive traffic trends, vehicle speeds, congestion levels, travel times, and delay times, incidents and events.

They are currently looking for a Senior Software Developer in Wayne, PA.

Summary:
Our client is seeking a well-rounded Senior .Net Software Developer with excellent analytical and problem solving skills. The individual must have hands-on experience with object oriented analysis and design as well as implementation of the design in .Net C#/C++ using object oriented techniques. Applicants must be quick learners, have excellent interpersonal skills, have strong communication skills and effectively work on and with multiple project teams.

Principal Duties:
- Performs analysis, design and development of software products, utilizing object-oriented, Internet, Java, C++, C#, Microsoft .NET, and other technologies.
- Perform analysis, design and development of software products.
- Utilize object-oriented, Internet, Java, .NET, and related technology.
- Middle tier and backend service design and development.
- Standalone multi-threaded process design and development.
- Support projects through the entire lifecycle including design, development, testing and production release.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.
- At least five years experience in software development.
- At least two years experience with C++/C#.
- Windows forms .Net application programming experience (ADO, remoting, GUI control development); ASP .NET web programming not sufficient.
- Direct X and graphics programming, Test Driven Development, Install Shield, Win32 application development, COM, network socket programming are desirable.
- Experience with SQL, XML, network protocols (TCP/IP, FTP. HTTP), Windows, Linux/Unix, OO and design patterns.
