Description: Do you love making software work right? Have you become bored with long development projects? Do you thrive in an environment with tight deadlines and frequent changes? Are you equally at home with Windows and Linux, Oracle and MS SQL, IE and Firefox? Have you coded in Java, developed in C#, played with PowerBuilder, dabbled in Cold Fusion, tweaked Linux, fiddled with the Windows registry, and massaged an XML file or two?

If so, we need you to take all your experience building and troubleshooting software applications and use that to ensure our existing product continues to work well for each and every client. This is a key role, utilizing several different skill sets. It’s a dream job for the right candidate.

You’ll get to complete a bunch of mini projects. You’ll get to feel that hero’s rush when you solve a problem for a desperate client. You’ll get to know and understand the good, the bad, and the amazing of our entire product suite. You’ll get to be that firefighter you always wanted to be. You’ll get to play with all the different environments and scenarios and become an expert at making software rock.

Here are some specifics we are looking for:

Experience designing, developing and maintaining software applications.

Graduate of an accredited four-year college or university with a major in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.

A working knowledge of commonly used practices and procedures used in software development.

Experience using source code control systems and configuration management concepts.

Demonstrated ability to employ analytical processes to identify and resolve software and system problems.

Great organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines Competent knowledge of Object Oriented Design, and Java, C++ or C# Experience working with JBoss, Ant, JUnit, SVN, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Cold Fusion, NSIS installer software, Eclipse, JDBC, Power Builder, Web Services, XML, and design patterns a plus
