Description: We are seeking a Senior Software Developer responsible for the design and development of Web-based software applications at our PA location.





Responsibilities:



· Create functional design specifications that meet the business requirements.



· Design, implement and lead key architecture, application and tool development projects.



· Responsible for unit testing of completed code for self as well as other team members



· Participate and contribute to peer reviews



· Should possess a mastery of the product from the core architecture to application level features.



· Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.



· Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.



· Performs a variety of complicated tasks.



· May lead and direct the work of others.



· Work within the guidelines of our client's project and process management practices.



Requirements:



· BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience



· 8-10 years of experience in commercial software development



· Full Software Development Lifecycle experience



· An eye for quality and a willingness to do what is necessary to achieve deadlines in a dynamic environment with frequent priority changes is required.



· Ability to solve complex problems in a fast paced environment with limited guidance.



· Able to work efficiently in teams and/or as an individual



· Deep understanding of the .NET framework (MCSD Certification a plus)



· Working knowledge of C/C++, C#, ASP, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JSCRIPT, XSLT/XML, DHTML and COM+.



· Object-oriented experience



· SQL Server and / or Oracle experience preferred



· Advanced data modeling skills.



· Excellent verbal and written communication skills



· Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality, user-friendly software applications to the commercial market
