Description: Our client, a global manufacturer in the Pittsburgh area, is looking for a senior level JAVA J2EE Developer to join their team. On a day-to-day basis, this individual will be responsible for providing expert level coding techniques for the implementation of their enterprise wide SOA. This developer will be responsible for mentoring other employees in the deployment of the Services Oriented Architecture. They must be able to translate existing applications by following standard JAVA development and SOA methodologies. This individual will work closely with the Enterprise Architect. To be qualified for this position, individuals should have a minimum of 7-10 years experience coding JAVA including areas such as J2EE, Web Services, SOA, and Web Sphere. They should also be able to use quality assurance protocols and standards. Candidates should provide strong leadership and mentoring skills. This position is scheduled as a 12 month contract. Since this is an immediate opening applicants should be available to personally interview within 48 hours.
