Description: Thomas-Matthew Associates, based out of Newtown, PA is a full service recruiting firm that specializes in providing individual attention to our clients and candidates.



The Software Developer/Analyst will work with other programmers to resolve application issues, questions, and coding, testing and installation enhancements. Will also analyze, research, develop, maintain and support automated solutions for the existing products. Must be able to work independently and with little oversight. Responsible for some testing, QA. Ability to interface directly with clients is a plus.



Responsibilities:

Work independently or in collaboration with a team of analysts and programmers.

Excellent knowledge of and experience with MS SQL 2000 or 2005 is a must.

Development of new functionalities in C#, Winform, ASP.Net 1.1 or 2.0.

Analysis, research and specifications for development.

Problem resolution.

Deployment, support and maintenance on current products.



Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of object oriented technologies.

Strong knowledge of C# and ASP.Net lanugages.

Knowledge of SQL language and MS SQL patterns.

Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol as well as the client/server architecture.

XML technologies.



Other Requirements:

University degree or equivalent experience.

Strong communication skills.

Strong analytical skills.

Team player and ability to share knowledge with team members.
