A significant component of this position will be analyzing, supporting and maintaining existing web applications while recommending and implementing technical solutions to enhance current applications. Reporting to the Senior Director of IT Development, the successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of the software development lifecycle and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies. Additionally, the.NET Developerwill create applications utilizing ASP.Net, and C# with Visual Studio 2005, and 2008, SQL Server 2005, Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007, and Microsoft Commerce Server 2007. Qualifications Ideal candidates will possess: . 3-5 years of experience in the design, development and support of both public and private facing web applications . Advanced HTML skills, ASP.net, C#, Visual Studio 05/08, SQL Server 2005, Windows Form Development . Experience in Web Services, Net Framework, Object Oriented Development (including UML) . Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong problem solving abilities . Working knowledge of Microsoft Sharepoint Server 2007, and/or Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 . Familiarity with Web 2.0 including Ajax and/or Silverlight highly desirable . Expertise with application specialties in eCommerce, Retail, POS Systems, or Data Warehousing is a plus . Bachelors degree in Information Systems, or a similar discipline . MCP or MSCD highly desirable
