Description: Thomas-Matthew Associates, based out of Newtown, PA is a full service recruiting firm that specializes in providing individual attention to our clients and candidates.



The programming projects will involve web based applications and automating processes. The ideal candidate will have development experience using standard system lifecycle methodologies but also be able to react to any immediate situation involving rapid (extremely rapid!) application development.



Our client is seeking an exceptionally talented, energetic, technically versatile, and self motivated individual who is an effective communicator, both verbally and in written form. Must have the ability to communicate the nature of a given solution and suggest alternative solutions, have a commitment to solve problems quickly and completely and demonstrated aptitude to learn new technology tools. This position requires resourcefulness and creativity, as well as an insatiable desire to get the job done and done well. Candidate must be a detail-oriented and proactive (as opposed to reactive) individual.



Experience Required:

BA/BS in CS or related discipline with 2 years of professional experience.

2 years of proven experience with database-driven web applications using .Net.

3 years VB programming (including Forms, not merely COM DLLs).

1 year VB.NET.

SQL Server 7.0/2000 relational database design, including the writing of SQL 2000 queries/complex stored procedures/triggers/functions, DDL, DTS and security.

Good understanding of user interface design principles and visual layout skills.

Experience with XML/XSLT.
