Description: Summary:

Reviews and analyzes user requirements and project specifications. Designs and develop user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI) based database-driven enterprise applications. Involved in full project development lifecycle (SDLC), including user requirements analysis, logical/physical design and development, quality assurance testing, training and implementation. Supports existing in-production applications. Reviews, installs and configures off-the-shelf software. Supervises other applications development staff.



Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Science or Medical Informatics, or greater in or equivalent work experience with emphasis on Information Science and Technology, Computer Sciences, Clinical Information Systems or Medical Informatics.

Proficiency in the following technologies/languages is required: Classic ASP, ASP.NET, Visual Basic, Visual C#, VBScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, AJAX, SQL Server/T-SQL.



Position requires 7-10 years of experience in the field of database-driven web as well as desktop applications/software development.



Excellent communications skills.



Excellent supervisory skills.



Responsibilities:

Supervises other programming staff members.

Analyzes user requirements and project specifications.

Develops visual application workflow process. 

Designs user-friendly application graphical user interface (GUI) - web-based as well as desktop

Programs business logic modules.

Designs relational database architecture as an application back-end.

Prepares supportive documentation including testing scripts, deployment procedures, maintenance and user manual.

Participates in post-deployment application support including troubleshooting, maintenance and modifications.
