Description: OBJECTIVE: Developing enterprise software for internal and external customers, both web-based and rich client based architectures.





ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



The following is a list of essential functions, which may be subject to change at any time and without advance notice. Management may assign new duties, reassign existing duties, or eliminate a function.



• Collaborates on system architecture decisions

• Works with internal customers to gather requirements, review solution designs, and provide system support

• Participates in full software development lifecycle activities including estimation, architecture, design, construction, integration, DB development, unit testing, integration testing, system testing, deployment, support, and maintenance

• Writes detailed functional specification and design documents

• Writes documentation that describes installation and operating procedures

• Assists QA group in preparing testing procedures

• Works with and coordinates external vendors and contract staff for outsourced development and integration projects

• Provides routine status reporting to management

• Other duties as assigned





REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS



Education and Experience: College degree with minimum 5-10 years experience in skills and competencies described below.



Skills and Competencies:



• Proficient in .Net Framework 1.1/2.0 software development (C#, XML, ASP.Net, Web Services)

• Experience with multi-tiered application architectures

• Knowledge of configuration of web sites under IIS

• Visual SourceSafe

• Strong understanding of HTML and CSS

• Client-side Javascript coding

• Strong working knowledge of SQL and SQL Server

• Principles of database design, data management and security.

• Ability to effectively estimate work and meet committed deadlines

• Ability to work independently

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Experience working with and building relationships with end users and internal customers

• Experience working with and coordinating external vendors and contract staff

• Ability to maintain confidential customer and Bank information in a responsible and secure manner







Optional Skills and Competencies:



• Web page graphical design

• AJAX development

• SAS programming and system management
