Three Rings is committed to maintain small, manageable engineering teams. You role will be the development of excellent code, and will expand to include leading others by this good example. In addition, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the architectural framework in which our games are developed. You will participate in and lead the development process from strategic planning through design, to implementation, polish, QA, and release, effectively owning much of the game development process.

li Compose elegant code swiftly.

li Take ownership of projects through development to release and beyond, including later bug-fixing and iterative refinements.

liExpert knowledge of Java, our primary platform.

li Familiarity with Unix environments and SQL (mySQL and/or PostgreSQL).

liKnowledge of good software engineering practices.

liA strong educational background, not necessarily in Software Engineering.

liGame development experience or a demonstrable interest in creating games./ul

liExperience with realtime 3D rendering technlogies and techniques.

liExperiece with Flash and Actionscript.
