Description: Thomas-Matthew Associates, based out of Newtown, PA is a full service recruiting firm that specializes in providing individual attention to our clients and candidates.



The Senior Developer will work mostly with enterprise level infrastructural software systems, applications which automate business processes, and applications that provide a user interface to business processes and data.



The main responsibilities of the position are to:

•Design and develop three-tiered software systems and applications.

•Review system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine feasibility of meeting ongoing business specifications.

•Analyze business processes and design software to streamline operations or to make the use of resources more efficient.

•Analyze a system’s performance indicators to ensure that it operates efficiently, and changes software so that system performance will meet objectives.

•Provide technical leadership for the design and development of software systems.



Our ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in production software development. Along with that we’re looking for:

•At least four years experience in Microsoft-based languages and frameworks: MS-Visual Basic, MS-Visual, C++, MS-Visual C#, MS-Visual Basic, .Net, MS-Scripting.

•Experience developing applications in a Web Services architecture.

•Extensive relational database experience.

•BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field required



Along with those requirements, it’s a plus if you have a Master’s degree and a strong knowledge of telephony or voice-based applications.
