Description: Our client, in Mechanicsburg, is looking for mid-level VB.NET Developers to join their team for a 9 month contract with the possibility of permanent employment. On a day-to-day basis, the qualified individual will receive instruction from a technical lead and then be responsible for coding in a SmartClient environment with both VB.NET and C#.NET, this program has a SQL 2005 backend. To be qualified for this position, the ideal candidate will possess at least 3 years experience with VB.NET, SQL Server 2005, WINforms, and SmartClient. Experience with C#.NET is preferred but not required. The individual should also have strong application documentation skills. This is at least a 9 month contract position with our client, but the ideal candidate should have the ability to accept an offer of permanent employment. Prior to submittal, we will require two supervisory technical professional references and a technical screening. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience. Only qualified candidates will receive a response.
