Description: Our Client, in the Lancaster area, is looking for a Visual Basic 6.0 developer for a contract-to-hire position. On a day-to-day basis, the candidate will be asked to design, evaluate, and provide feedback for design specifications. They will analyze functional specifications and determine readiness for the design specification process. Individuals will deliver unit tested code as well as mentor other developers. Candidates who wish to succeed in this position will possess strong documentation skills and be very meticulous in their development. To be qualified for this position, individuals must possess 3-5 years of Visual Basic 6.0 development. They will be using JavaScript/subscript on a regular basis. Individuals must have experience using a relational database such as SQL. Pluses for the position are web interfacing experience such as HTML/DHTML and XML. Individuals with commercial software development experience would be very successful in this position.
