Description: Our client is expanding and looking for a Visual Basic Developer to handle the following duties and responsibilities:



* Create, test, and document programs, reports, and processes in response to user requests and Information Systems requirements. Design and maintain databases according to established standards and procedures.

* Perform analysis of staff problems and requests as they relate to available computer technology and resources. Assist in preparation of feasibility and alternatives analyses, as well as implementation plans.

* Provide 2nd level support in the resolution of software related issues.

* Prepare system documentation including abstracts, flow charts, and user instructions.

* Provide user training and support as required.

* Participate in budget preparation and strategic planning.

* Follow in both letter and spirit the company's policies, procedures and processes.

* Develop and follow a program to increase personal effectiveness in the areas of information technology and general business.

* Participate and contribute as a positive role model to the IT Department and to the organization as a whole.

* Complete special projects as assigned.



Qualifications:

* Minimum 3 years programming experience on PC based platform with extensive knowledge of Visual Basic, Crystal Reports, SQL Server, and .net framework

* Possess comprehensive knowledge of Windows operating systems and web development.

* Superior skills in logic, problem solving, and planning as well as excellent written and verbal communication abilities are a must.

* Candidate should possess the ability to analyze and use independent judgment in systems development.
