Description: Web Developer (2+ years)





Responsibilities:



• Develop .NET web based applications with ASP.NET 1.1 and 2.0.



• Work closely with the business throughout the software development life cycle to craft solutions that meet and exceed expectations.



• Help collaborate with other team members to refine the development process





Minimum Technical Skills:



• Comprehensive understanding and usage of Microsoft Technologies (2 – 3 Years)



• Comprehensive understanding of Programming Techniques and Practices (3+ Years)



• Extensive development experience utilizing .html, JavaScript, VBScript, or other scripting language, XML, Cascading Style Sheets, and Microsoft ASP.NET 1.1.



• Comprehensive understanding of .NET Framework



• 3+ years of development experience with an object oriented language



• Win Form development



• SQL Server 2000/2005 – experience in developing stored procedures, T-SQL development, schema design



• OO Concepts, Architecture, Design, and Implementation





Preferred Experience / Interests:



• Expert knowledge of and experience with application development practices and principles in a web-based environment.



• Proven Experience with and strong understanding of object-oriented analysis, development principles, and techniques.



• Strong experience with relational databases and SQL principles, including design of moderately to highly complex databases and stored procedures.



• Strong experience with security best practices as related to web development.



• Strong web servers (IIS), application servers, Windows 2003, and other elements of an internet infrastructure.



• Workflow development a significant plus (Microsoft BizTalk preferred)



• Document collaboration experience (Microsoft Sharepoint preferred)



• Financial Reporting



• Reuters RMDS or Bloomberg Server API development experience



• Financial Products Markup Language (FpML)



• Straight-Through-Processing (STP) using SwapsWire, the Depository Trust Clearing Corporation (DTCC), FXAll or SWIFT



• Development experience in an Agile (Scrum) environment



• Bachelor’s degree or higher is strongly preferred, although we retain an open mind as to the major
