Description: Our client, located in Horsham, PA has an immediate need for a Senior Application Developer to work as a lead in developing interactive TV applications





Primary Responsibilities:



As the lead (or only) member of an applications development team:



· Assess needs, specify requirements, and lead the design and development of Interactive TV server and set-top applications.



· Develop and maintain applications using C/C++, Java, XML/HTML, SOAP, JavaScript, Perl, Macromedia Flash, and other emerging Interactive TV development technologies. ·



· Assume the lead responsibility in the design and creation of application software. ·



· Analyze existing business processes, designing automation where necessary.



Qualifications:



· Minimum 6-8 years developing application software.



· Minimum 2-4 years developing interactive TV, VOD or set-top application software. ·



· Experience in Solaris, Linux & Windows environments.



· C, C++, Java, Java Script, UNIX shell, TCP/IP XML/HTML are a required.



· SOAP, Perl, .NET, ORACLE, MySQL are plus.



· Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.



· Ability to translate business objectives into programming initiatives and requirements. · Strong project and resource management skills.



· Excellent communication skills; ability to positively influence people both internally and externally.



· BS in Computer Science or equivalent years of experience.





**This is a permanent position. Salary is commensurate with experience.**
