Description: Our client is in need of a POWERBUILDER programmer to join a 6 month contract with indefinite renewals. Candidates must have a strong work ethic and sense of ownership in this large company based in the greater Harrisburg area. To qualify for this position, candidates will have experience working with Powerbuilder, PFC and RELATIONAL DATABASE (ORACLE or SQL). Day to day tasks include system design, development, testing and documentation. Experience with Powerbuilder v.10 is ideal, but not mandatory. Candidates must have PFC experience and experience gathering functional specifications and authoring. Candidates will be required to take an assessment to measure Powerbuilder skills. Interviews will be conducted onsite here in the greater Harrisburg area. Compensation will be based on level of experience. In this role, pay will be based on an hourly W2 basis through TEKsystems. Personal interviews will take place here locally in south central Pennsylvania. Some local travel will be required within driving distance. Candidates are able to give a standard 2 weeks notice.
