Description: Under general direction, formulates/ defines system scope and objectives. At times, may be required to lead a team on a complex project. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations operating time and form of desired results. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Designs, codes, tests, debug and document those programs. Individual should be able to work at the highest technical level on all phase of a project. Many times the individual will be responsible for completion of a phase of a project. The Lead Application Developer supports our company’s custom programming initiatives. The individual will be responsible for gathering system requirements, mapping business processes and writing code. The position assists the developers in the atiegies of programming, data storage, and business system logic. The individual should be able to function in a team environment. The Lead Application Developer should show the ability to make judgment decisions and prioritize work load. The person must demonstrate problem solving skills and ability to learn new technologies. The individual must take initiative in identifying business opportunities, defining alternative solutions and executing steps necessary to see tasks through to completion. This will primarily be in a consulting environment, so the candidate should possess good customer relations and strong communications skills.





Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in IT or related field preferred

• Strong background in developing applications

• Candidate should be able to code in ASP, VB6, and. NET. Crystal Reports and VBScript are a plus.

• Ability to take business requirements and convert them to a logical model.

• Develop and document standards and procedures.

• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work as a team member.

• Knowledge of Tax Collection Applications a strong plus

• Minimum of 5 years experience.
