Description: TEKsystems is looking for a senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer to work at the site of our client in Fort Washington, PA. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. Candidates must possess senior to expert level development ability with Oracle PL/SQL (version 10g). Experience should include all phases of design, development, implementation and maintenance of packaged or custom applications. The team of developers writes PL/SQL procedures to solve short-term and long-term issues tied directly to revenue and account reconciliation for a major healthcare company. Strong experience is required in the following areas: Very Large Databases (1+ Terabyte), External Tables and SQL*Loader, SQL tuning processes including tkprof, explain plan, and autotrace, knowledge of Global and local partitioning, indexing schemes, understanding of limitations and benefits between Warehouse and transactional databases, experience with very large databases, batch/bulk data environments.
