Description: Key participant in the design and development of various enhancements to J2EE application framework.  Will work with technical leads to design the right solution using the framework and consult on best practices and code reviews.



Solution is deployed in a unix environment using WebSphere Application Server, BEA AquaLogic Portal Server, MQSeries and an Oracle 9i database server.



Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years J2EE design and development experience, 8 years of Java development experience, including creation of Java Server Pages, servlets, JMS, WebServices and Enterprise Java Beans.

• Very strong OO design and development experience, specifically in the area of J2EE design patterns such as Model View Controller, Command pattern, Session Façade, Data Access Object pattern, etc. 

• Experience with WebSphere Application Server version 5.1 or 6.0 mandatory.  Experience writing SQL and using JDBC to connect to relational databases is a plus.

• Experience over the full SDLC is a must.

• Experience estimating the duration of design and development tasks.

• Very Strong written and oral communication skills. 

• BS in Computer Science or related field.
