Description: Senior Java/J2EE Developer



Elemica is looking for a fulltime, senior Java/J2EE Developer. A likely candidate for Senior J2EE Developer would have had experience in development, team leadership, project management and maintenance of large scale J2EE platform based web applications for a period of 8 years or more. The Senior Java/J2EE Developer will be responsible of architecting, team leadership, working with vendors, developing, documenting, testing, delivering and supporting the systems developed across the Elemica Web Solutions.



Skills Required:



Technical Skills



1) Excellent Java, J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, Struts, WebLogic and RDBMS development skills.

2) Experience in system development and maintenance using J2EE technologies.

3) Strong experience with MVC Frameworks (Struts), EJB, Spring and Hibernate, Oracle RDBMS, Business Rule engine, WebLogic , Linux and Apache.

4) In depth knowledge of applicable methodologies, tools, standards, and procedures.

5) Excellent analytical skills; proactive and eager problem solver. Excellent change management skills.

6) Strong oral and written communications with both technical and non-technical audiences. Previous experience with technical design documentation, ability to present to upper management.

7) Must collaborate with other internal technology teams to coordinate and deliver software systems.

8) Takes personal initiative; conscientiousness and complete follow-through on areas of responsibility.

9) Able to work well within a small, focused, talented team.

10) Knowledge of the full software development life cycle including requirements.

11) Demonstrated experience in testing and test planning.

12) Familiarity with relational database design.



13) Candidates must have a BSCS or equivalent degree.



14)Any additional experience with other open-source tools would be considered a plus.



15)Experience developing scalable, high-volume, transactional e-commerce applications is also highly desirable.

1) Previous B2B experience.
