Description: Database Programmer/Analyst - Insurance industry



Responsibilities

Work closely with our clients to design; test; code and maintain SQL Server (2000 and 2005) databases. Design detailed test plans and thoroughly test system changes. Deploy and integrate changes into client production environments. Write technical documentation.



Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

2-4 years experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle development

Stored Procedures

Views

Triggers

Database Tuning



Some exposure to another programming language (e.g. Java/.Net)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the US

Preference given to applicants with the following:

Working knowledge of data warehousing principles

BS or MS in Computer Science or related field

Insurance Industry experience

Prior customer service experience

Any Test Driven Development experience
