Description: Principal Responsibilities:



• Develop and maintain corporate operations application using .NET, VB

• Develop and maintain corporate operations databases using SQL Server 2000 and 2005

• Develop and maintain any third party integrations with applications impacting the Operations

• Develop and maintain reports for Online clients and internal use including quality control reporting using Web Focus

• Assist in Disaster Recovery planning and exercises

• Create and maintain documentation





Qualifications/Requirements for the Position:



• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

• Three to five years of experience in web development using .NET & VB

• 2-3 years of experience in Database Development using SQL 2000 and at least 1 year development using SQL 2005 handling Large Databases

• One to three years of experience in OO programming or applications support

• One to three years of experience in SQL query writing and database optimization

• Experience with relational database environment, SQL 2000 and 2005 preferred

• Experience in DTS Packages/SSIS packages, complex Transact-SQL, Stored procedures, Indexing

• Performance tuning of the Databases

• Migrating Databases from SQL 2000 to SQL 2005

• Build/Manage the Staging Database Environment

• Experience in handling Production Databases where changes are done using appropriate Change Management Process

• Experience with reporting tools

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

• Self motivator with a commitment to excellence

• Commitment to team and team building
