Description: MPower Trading Systems develops a proprietary automated trading engine. We are hiring highly motivated individuals willing to work with cutting edge technologies for the next generation of trading.



Designers will be working with real-time and historical financial data from all major stock exchanges; domain knowledge of stock market technical analysis and experience with market trading systems is highly desirable but not required. Accepted candidates will become core members of our growing development team.



The candidates must have good knowledge and experience in the following

** Java, J2EE, GUI design (swing, etc.)

** Developing highly scalable distributed systems

** Multithreaded and multi-CPU systems

** Performance optimization

** Good understanding of networking

** Database design

** Proficient on Windows and Linux

** Proficient at mathematics

** UML



It is also preferable to have knowledge and experience in the following

** Financial background (stocks, options, futures, currencies)

** C++

** Matlab

** Perl

** AJAX



Responsibilities include process analysis, architectural design, development, refactoring, testing/debugging, and documentation.
