Description: Junior Web / Database Developer/ .Net /SQL Server







This position requires working within a development team along with a strong partnership with the business







Position Responsibilities:







Responsible for the development and maintenance of an internet e-commerce site and other related internet web systems.







Develop formal business requirements specifications in conjunctions with end-user design sessions.







Develop technical specifications from business requirement analysis and design sessions.







Design and Code Transactional Web Pages and reports as well as related SQL Procedure code to support the business and technical requirements.







Design and code reusable objects and components from both a Web and Database standpoint.







Create technical design documents.







Must be able to work within a group of technical and business users in a dynamic / team-oriented environment to meet project milestones and objectives.







Position Requirements:







BS degree required, with a concentration in Computer science and / or Information Systems







Must have 3+ plus years .Web / database development experience using .Net and SQL Server.







Excellent overall technical skills as wells as business consulting skills with an ability to conduct data requirements and process definition meetings with clients.







Results driven, self-motivated and able to work independently.







Must have ability to learn new technologies and understand business processes from IT and business perspectives.







Excellent written and verbal communication skills.







Developing in a Microsoft .NET framework using an object oriented methodology







Coding experience in .NET (ASP, C# ), Web Services, Web Page design (style sheets, frames etc.)







Java Script, HTML, XML, Relational Database concepts (entity modeling, table design; Keys, Indexes)







SQL, SQLSERVER Transact /SQL: Stored Procedures, triggers, views







Basic understanding of LAN/WAN protocols (TCP/IP; FTP)







Proficient in Windows 2000 environments as well as MS Office Tools
