Genesis10 currently has several consulting and permanent opportunities for SQL Developers. Duties and responsibilities include: - Will be designing database models - Will be working on a redesign on an existing sql server database - Looking for someone with a solid knowledge of database design and implementation with a background in financial applications.



Experience:
Requirements - 3+ Years of Transact-SQL experience, preferably in Financial-related systems - An exceptional understanding of database object design, deployment and maintenance, including proper index analysis and design/implementation - Superior eye for performance improvement, and foresight of scaling data sizes - Database design and architecture experience for one or more production and client facing applications - Skills in one or more related programming environments: .NET 2.0 or higher, ASP.NET 2.0, WinForm - Self-driven, good communicator and great team-player - Experience with model-based design Pluses - Experience with UML - Understanding of RUP, MSF, or other disciplined software development processes - Experience with loan origination/servicing applications - Have shipped large sized database applications - Experience refactoring TSQL applications.
