Description: Large company, whose clients include The US Department of De fence and the US Navy, is looking for a solid mid-level VB programmer to do development of a GIS (Global Information System) that will be used by the Port-Authority to access a database that tracks all the bridges they are responsible for. Location: Downtown NY Required Skills: VB, JavaScript, .Net, Oracle Additional Skills: Oracle Spacial (a plus but not necessary) Additional Info: Candidate must be career-oriented (good tenure at past positions) and possess excellent communication.
