Description The requirements and responsibilities for all aspects of the Sr. Programmer/Analyst Role include (but are not limited to) the following: . Under general supervision, responsible for program analysis, design and specification for own programs . Under minimal supervision responsible for coding, testing, debugging and implementation into production TheSr. Programmer / Analyst will serve as a contributor to the FA PB Desktop team. He/she will code a set of functions or related functions in * Own the coding of assigned components, execute the assigned project tasks, oversee technical resources - day to day supervisory interaction with development team * Advise Client on technical aspects of project in business terms * Collaborate with Sr Technical Specialist and/or PM to ensure transparency of work * Coordinate/provide high-level support of production support issues and BAU work * Drive PlanView process The individual will also assume responsibilities to: * Own the technical aspects of any new applications, as needed, by FLS and FA PB Desktop * Act as liaison and providing any required support for the FA PB Desktop and Business teams including Online Client Experience Team, NextGen, Strategic Planning and Shared Services. The Sr Programmer Analyst will work closely with the members of the development team, as well as the PM and PL and must develop collaborative relationships across the various teams.

TECHNOLOGY COMPETENCIES . Satisfy programming requirements for the unit of work assigned, with minimal supervision, within the budgeted timeframe . Have extensive platform knowledge . Exhibit a disciplined approach in unit and component testing to ensure zero defects . Determine the appropriate nit test case, including functional and regression cases . Perform analysis and design on the system level and inter-system level . Complete appropriate identify root cause . Work with team leader to set direction regarding project priorities, milestones and initiatives . Ensure hardware and software is set up appropriately SYSTEMS SUPPORT . Have root cause analysis skills, able to quickly analyze and interpret code . Ensure that issues are resolved or escalated appropriately . Recognize the interdependencies between systems . Take ownership for issues; actively seek to expand understanding of issues; follow up on resolution even when resolved by other . Conduct post-project reviews when appropriate COMMUNICATION . Communicate with project team regarding specifications and requirements relative to components . Communicate interdependencies between components . Possess effective written communication skills . Communicate cross product, cross project in and outside of department LEADERSHIP . Liaise with multiple tech teams (work well with others)

Specifications / Qualifications * 3-5+ years experience in technical programming; preferably in financial services industry, private client space * Must have proven track record in delivering technology projects from inception to implementation; preferably on a broker desktop platform and/or broker-facing applications * Ability to learn new technologies and stay abreast of emerging technologies. * Must have strong communication skills. Job requires interfacing with other technology delivery teams, architecture, strategy and business users. TECHNICAL SKILLS: * 3-5+ years in Java / J2EE Development, Java Skills: Java (Servlets, JSP, Struts, Java Beans, EJB, JDBC, RMI, Core Java, XML, Java Networking), Database: DB2 (Z/os preferred); SOA and FLEX. * Must track record of completing end to end project delivery, not just design and review NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS:Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills, ability to influence his/her staff as well as colleagues not under his or her immediate supervision, ability to interface with and build positive relationships with business counterparts and staff. Financial industry experience preferred. Experience managing right placements a plus. Yes Travel (1%)
