Position:SeniorC/C++ Developer Location:New York,NY Duration:Perm Salary:Open, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

The chosen candidate will help make team level design and implementation decisions regarding legacy applications and new infrastructure components. New components will typically be reusable application server components for use in numerous financial applications. Components must be maintainable, scalable and 100% reliable, built using best practices for software development.

Job Specifications: Technical

* 7+ years of development experience with C/C++. Java/J2EE experience is also preferred * Experience with cross platform development including Windows and Unix * Proficiency in relational database use * Strong experience with design-for-testability and unit-tests * Proficiency with software configuration management tools such as CVS and Subversion * Capable of mentoring more junior developers * Understanding and dedication to software development "best practices"
