Description: The selected ideally regionally local degreed Java Programmer candidate will join this leading International Bank's Global Risk Management Team with the opportunity to learn the full range of financial products - a terrific advantage in building your Wall Street career while working independently programming in JAVA / J2EE, and prioritize tasks based on business needs while being able to learn business and workflow and recommend changes to business & technical partners for this exciting career growth opportunity with offices in Downtown New York City, New York. Qualified ideally regionally local intermediate Java Programmer candidates will have a college degree, four years+ of JAVA (J2EE) programming experience including JSP, EJBs, JavaScript, and SQL skills with strong Unix / Linux experience, Struts and Swing are desired as well as Perl and XML with database experience preferably Sybase but could be other relational DBMS like SQL Server, Oracle or UDB, with strong analytical, problem solving and English communication skills and have the ability to take initiative, work independently, and prioritize tasks based on business needs while being able to learn business and workflow and recommend changes to business & technical partners. (Regionally local NY / NJ / PA / CT area candidates preferred, no interview, travel or relocation expenses will be provided.
