Description: Our client is a leader in the Investment Banking industry.



Duties: Provides day to day support, sets up new client connections and develops tools to support sales people across a wide range of financial products. Supports electronic trade merchandising and execution of customer trade idea generation. Packages and installs client and server components once they have been implemented and tested. Works on real-time trade processing and clearance applications. Builds and enhances the firm-wide clearance applications using distributed technology. Working on application architecture enhancements for scaling and performance



Skills:

• Solid understanding of distributed architecture framework.

• Relational Database experience using Sybase (or other major Database Management systems) experience is required

• 3+ years of Java

• 3+ years of UNIX programming experience

• Web application development experience using JBOSS, Weblogic, Tomcat.

• Good interpersonal communication and documentation skills, self directed and self motivated, good at handling multiple tasks concurrently.
