THIS CONTRACT IS FOR 6+ MONTHS



Summary:

working with global sales team to build out the strategic Sales Desktop for Equities and Fixed Income. SalesSheet is the primary trade entry and order management system for Fixed Income. It utilizes a distributed architecture to trade in real-time electronically with the trading desks. Projects include integrating Derivative trades into SalesSheet, implementing electronic functionality, and working with the business to define their requirements.



Principal Responsibilities:

• Analyze, develop, and delivery technology solutions to satisfy the sales force’s requirements for the credit derivatives business. Much of the development will be in Investment Bank's proprietary risk management and trading platform technology.

• Application development in Java Swing front-end communicating over rv messaging to C++/Java services.

• Perform design and code reviews for team members.

• Integrate derivatives functionality into strategic java-based sales trading application.



Experience/Skills:

• Strong analytical skills

• Strong communications skills

• Strong (5+ years) experience in Java and/or C# application development.

• GUI experience needs to be in Java/Swing

• Experienced in derivatives is needed

• Should be able to manage projects and work independently

• Candidates must be willing to learn an Object oriented proprietary db

as a portion of their job (20 %+ may be coding in the proprietary language).
