Description Overview of Role The Team The current RAD Team consists of a team leader and two developers and is based at the London Wall site. The team supports the Front and Middle Offices in London and New York. The Environment The RAD team works closely with the business to build a thorough understanding of their products and processes in order to identify, define, deliver and integrate business critical solutions. The RAD team provides first line, office-hours support for their applications. Reflecting recent organizational changes which have bought the Commodity Exotics and Flow business under a unified management structure, the RAD teams of the respective businesses are expected to work in closer cooperation. As such, the developer will benefit from day-to-day management support from the Flow team leader who is based in NY, with a direct reporting line into the Exotics team leader in London The Outlook It is planned to grow the RAD team over the next year as a results of two factors: 1) Commodity Exotics is a growing business within JPMC. 2) There is a strategic push for the RAD team to onboard and refactor an array of pricing and offline risk management tools currently owned by the quant group The Requirement A NY based developer is sought to help with immediate workload on various projects including PnL reporting, Front Office Risk Aggregation and Market Data Marking with particular focus on the Oil business. Everyone in the RAD team participates in all phases of the development lifecycle. Technical skills are obviously a pre-requisite to success; however, to deliver effectively in this dynamic and pressurised environment the candidate will need strong communication skills, flexibility and a high level of determination and commitment. In terms of execution, it is important that the candidate has the ability to run projects independently from specification to deployment whilst respecting the norms of the team and the necessary communication channels to all stakeholders. Responsibilities Application Development: * Work proactively with the front and middle offices and the quant group in the analysis of their tools and processes * Select the appropriate technology to deliver a workable and supportable solution * Effective unit testing and quality assurance of applications * Support of all applications owned by the RAD Team

Qualifications 1+ years working in a trading desk facing role * Good knowledge of derivatives, risk management and pricing (ideally in commodities, but candidates with experience in other asset classes will also be considered) * Excellent communication & inter-personal skills as well as a high level of enthusiasm * Proven track record of high performance & solution delivery * Flexible & committed with a desire to work in a high pressure rapidly changing environment * Applications/Languages: Excel, VBA, C# (Unix, Perl, Python an advantage) * Database: SQL Server or Sybase JPMorgan Chase & Co. offers an exceptional benefits program and a highly competitive compensation package.
