Description: Our client is a leader in the Investment Banking industry.



THIS IS A 6 MONTH CONTRACT ONLY



Summary:



Primarily looking for a technically strong Developer with Core Java, Strong Sybase, (50/50 responsibility) or other RDBMS, UNIX, good scripting skills and some web development.

A strong communicator, confident in dealing with demanding, technical users and in problem solving in a team environment involving complex processes and data.



Principal Responsibilities:



Develop and coordinate development of this new functionality and enhancement, this is Global Equity Risk and Attribution product, web accessible.

Production Support – during the day production support, and rotational overnight batch support, on call.

Interact with users to determine needs and requirements.



General Experience/Skills:



Java, RDBMS, Sybase, ant, ksh, perl, HTML/DHTML, JavaScript, Tomcat, Weblogic, HTTP, HTML/DHTML., cvs, Unix ( Solaris ), Linux

Required Java / Sybase / Unix

Matlab experience a plus
